We have daily, weekly, and monthly rates.
Monthly and weekly rates are due on presentation of invoice. The amount needs to be paid prior or on arrival.
Daily Bookings - Upon confirmation and completion of your booking reservation, Northcliff BnB will invoice the value of the booking. 50% of the booking, or the full value if it is less than R1000 needs to be paid in order to confirm the booking. Your booking will be cancelled should we not receive a bank notification of payment within 24 hours of the booking being made.
For guests that do not arrive, or cancellations that are made 0 to 7 days prior to the agreed arrival date, 100% of the deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations made 7 – 14 days prior to the agreed arrival date will forfeit 50% of the deposit. There is a 10% administration fee on any refund requests. Should refunds to a SWIFT bank account be required, an additional fee of R200 will apply.
In the event of premature departure or a late arrival, the full amount of the booking is still due.
Our rates are per person and not per room. Any undisclosed guest that overnights at the guesthouse will be charged for.
Check in time is from 2pm - 6pm.
Please advise us if you are arriving later or earlier to ensure that you will be received on arrival. Late check in is only by prior arrangement. A penalty fee may be charged.
Check out time is 10am
Guests not checked out after 10am will be charged accordingly.
No children under 10
Pets are not allowed
Whilst every precaution is taken to ensure the safety of our guests and their possessions on the premises, the owners,
managers or staff of Northcliff BnB will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to persons or their belongings whatsoever,
including their vehicles and belongings in their vehicles.
Key and Remote Policy: Should a guest mislay their room key or not return the key, new locks and keys will be installed and the guest will be liable for this charge.
The old room key will no longer be functional. Guests are issued with a gate remote. Should the remote be lost or not returned, the replacement thereof will be chargeable to the guest.
Please look after your keys and gate remotes as we take security very seriously and cannot compromise the safety of our guests and their possessions.
Parking is limited inside the property. One bay is allocated per room. Please let us know your parking requirements before you arrive.
We provide a laundry service; kindly speak to us with regards to charges
Guests will be held liable for any willful damage, and/or damage caused due to negligence to the business and the property.
The owners, manager, or staff of Northcliff BnB reserve the right to determine acceptable levels of noise, or behavior of guests and may require guests to leave if they are causing a disturbance, annoying other guests, or staff, or are behaving in an otherwise unacceptable manner. The manner of guest's behavior will be judged solely by the owners, manager, or staff of Northcliff BnB.
For the general happiness of all our guests please try to keep as quiet as possible from 10PM to 8AM especially in the parking area, general walkways and on the patios.
Please do not talk on your cell phone in these areas during this time. Please do not hang washing, wet towels etc, or put shoes out on your patio.
Smoking is NOT allowed in the bedrooms of the bed and breakfast. Should you wish to smoke you may do so on your patio or at the lapa.
You are welcome to use the swimming pool during your stay, at your own risk. The lapa is a common area for relaxation or work. The wifi extends to the lapa.
If there is anything else you require please let us know immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your requirements.
There is a shy cat called Stella, she's not allowed in the bedrooms. Please do not encourage her. She keeps our Bed and Breakfast rodent free.
We try to run an eco home and ask that you try to conserve electricity and water when you can. Please switch off appliances (lights, heaters, heater blanket, fan, etc) before you go out.
